Glen Innes is the heart of Australia’s Celtic Country and hosts the Australian Celtic Festival in May of each year to celebrate the rich history of the area. The four day festival draws huge crowds and the events, music, dance and food is enjoyed by tourists and locals alike. Glen Innes is surrounded by some of the most beautiful country side Australia has to offer and it is there for the taking! Fishing, bushwalking, camping, even gem fossicking are popular pastimes in Glen Innes that are enjoyed by young and old.

Food and wine is an emerging industry in the area and there are many fine provideres who are eager to show off their wares either in the many fine cafes and restaurants in the centre of town or a little bit off the beaten path.
