Delungra Public School

Delungra Public School is a welcoming school with large grounds that include a tennis court, basketball court, playground equipment and a variety of covered areas to play in the shade on those hot days. The school is will resources with a high student to resource ratio.

The staff are experienced, enthusiastic and highly trained. The school has small class sizes that allow the teachers to implement individualised programs based on their deep knowledge of student's personal learning needs. In addition to small class sizes the school offers a range of excellent individualised support programs to with support or extend the tallents of the students.

All students' health and happiness is a high priority of the caring staff. To ensure students have the skills they need to be both healthy and happy today and into the future the school has implemented a rigorous well-being program. This program includes yoga, mindfulness, dance, fundamental movement skills, kitchen gardens and the social skills program "Growing up with a Bucket Full of Happiness". The schools kitchen garden is extensive with vegetable gardens, an orchard, chickens and a Kids Cafe that prepares and sells produce from the gardens.
