Moree Plains Shire has the lowest median house sale price at $310,000 - a whopping 71% below the median price for New South Wales. This is followed closely followed by Gwydir Shire, which is 70% lower. A massive difference in the size of your mortgage payments!

Median Weekly Rental Price for Houses

On average, the median weekly rental for a house in the Northern Inland region is 36% less the median price for New South Wales, 38% less than Newcastle, and even 21% lower than other regional areas in NSW.

More than half the Local Government Areas have a median that is over 35% less than all of New South Wales. The median rent in Gwydir Shire is less than half, while Walcha, Glen Innes Severn and Inverell Shire are all over 40% less.
