The Northern Inland Region is part of the Hunter New England Local Health District. Residents of the region have access to a public health service network that includes hospitals, multipurpose services and community health facilities in both the larger centres of Tamworth and Armidale, and smaller communities around the region.
A variety of residential aged care services are also available in the region, with at least one option available in each township or city in the region.
